Racing

Whether it is about finishing, living a big adventure or racing. Whatever your goals are, we welcome and celebrate all accomplishments. At the end of the day, “fast” is relative. While everyone is of course free to choose any event anywhere in the world, we set up a club race calendar so that we can plan at least some triathlon races together. What if you don’t like racing? That’s ok! Racing is not mandatory.

Gear

As a New York City triathlon club, what colors other than the city banner colors, blue-white-orange, make sense for tri gear? :)

We offer a two piece sleeved tri suit, and a long sleeve thermal cycling jacket.

Of course the team gear is optional for purchase. Another possibility is to add the club logo to already owned tri suits and fitness gear. This can be done for as little as $20 per item. The club will facilitate the process for adding the logo.

Should members need advice on what kind of triathlon gear to buy, we are happy to advise.

Workouts take place on most days of the week and will be communicated to the team through the club's WhatsApp group chat.Coaching: With many years of successful experience in training and racing in short and long distance races, we are able to provide guidance on the do's and don'ts in the sport. In addition, we are USAT Level I coaches and in a position to offer training plans and give advice to members.Partnership with New York Triathlon in 2021: We are offering a beginners training program that started in January and will last until March, aiming at a participation in the Central Park Duathlon. After that a Triathlon training. program is going to follow.Social events: We plan to have monthly social events.

Cost

Race entries are often expensive enough. We believe a membership in a Tri Club should not be.

The yearly fee is $50, which is solely used to cover costs. In addition, each athlete can choose 2 club branded items, which are a t-shirt, hat, mask, gaiter or beanie upon joining the club.

Funds that are left over will go into financing social events, and club apparel (such as shirts and caps).
